"Beautiful Men in Sport"
14 photos for the 2003 by Donna Moderna
On November 14th Donna Moderna, Mondadori's weekly women's magazine, will be
in the newsstands with its 2003 calendar, " Beautiful Men in Sport".
The calendar has 14 colour photos of 14 "number one"athletes of Italian
sport, taken by famous photographer Gianni Giansanti. The 14 charming figures
in the calendar, representing the most important sport disciplines, choose to
pose for free for a charitable goal, supporting an important humanitarian initiative
by Emergency. In their name Donna Moderna will contribute to the new
maternity and gynecology center in the Panshir Valley, in Afghanistan, a country
plagued by war and hunger, where women still die of childbirth and one baby
in four dies before reaching five years of age. Before December 2002 the Center
will be open to all mothers in need of help, and their children. D.M.'s readers
will have the chance of helping this initiative through the magazine. Buying
the calendar will be a way of "cheering" together with our sportsmen
for an important cause: offering Afghan mothers a chance to be cured. The calendar
will be in the newsstands on November 14th, at the price of Euros.4,90.
